Vision
Nature offers a lot of animals that are symbolic images. The eagle and the wolf are two of my favorites: the eagle, with its powerful wings, and the wolf on land, both always on the watch for danger or opportunity. Another interesting trait is that they both mate for life, something maybe humans can learn from nature.
This work is painted in egg tempera, a medium often used by Michelangelo, DaVinci, and others of their time, as well as Andrew Wyeth, one of the masters that I have learned from.
