mule deer - Limited Edition
What I love about nature is that animals change to their environment every season. The "Watchful Eye" is a mule deer that I saw standing in the trees one autumn. I was very attracted to the colors and markings of the deer. I used paper similar to the Japanese Kasuiri bark paper that I have used for other wildlife paintings, except that this paper had different inclusions, some of them autumn-gold colored. They are the only representation of the trees and leaves that were all around him.
"Watchful Eye" prints are limited edition. Only 250 full-sized prints will be sold, and no other sizes will be available.
